"St. Lucia dorp het baie agteruit gegaan gedurende die, of as gevolg van die Corona grendeltydperk. Die feit dat jy soos 'n krimineel behandel word as jy die strand wil besoek deur sekuriteitswagte wat aangestel is om drank en wapens op die strand te voorkom, wat ons ten volle ondersteun, is nie aanvaarbaar nie. Ek sal aanbeveel hulle word op 'n toerismekursus gestuur en geleer hoe om met gaste te werk en praat. As gevolg van die ongeskikte/onprofessionele optrede sal ons eerder ander bestemmings in KZN besoek."

"Lovely quiet and private little coastal town. The roads could do with some pothole-fixing. Town has the feeling of "jungle" rather than "beach". The beach is not readily accessible, having to cross a railway etc, but in some way this does add to the secluded charm of Pennington."

"Sal weer Ballito besoek vir 'n see-vakansie. Die dorp en strande word pragtig skoon gehou. Langs die loopweg is daar is orals houers met sakkies geplaas vir honde-gemors en dit word gebruik. Daar is 'n dame wat elke oggend die vuilgoed optel op die strand en sy vervang die asbliksakke al langs die paadjie. Daar is 'n groot winkelsentrum met al die winkels wat ons nodig gehad het. Sal volgende keer verken - hierdie keer het ons net gestoel!"
