"Die area verdien nie Whale Rock nie. Daar is geen ander aktiwiteite om te doen behalwe swem, visvang, stap en uiteet. Vir ander aktiwiteite moet daar na ander dorpe gery word."
"Shelly Beach is so rustige en vriendelike omgewing. Die strand is rustig en heerlik om 'n dag te spandeer. "
"The beach itself over the holiday period (after New Year) was quite noisy at night and there was quite a bit of rubbish left on the beach. The beach was cleaned early in the mornings. Life guards were on duty making swimming safer than other holiday beaches we have been to. There is a lot of glass on walkways - these need to be cleaned or water blasted by council. "

"Close to Shelly Beach and Margate and easily accessible from Highway. Good Police presence in area and enough car guards when you are at any of the beaches. Nice friendly Spar. German Restaurant at St Michael's worth visiting - good service and food and reasonably priced. Toilets on Beach need attention if you compare this with Marina Beach. "
