"It was a wonderful stay but it is also so easy to get sucked into all the activities on offer. However, once sucked in, it was enjoyable with enough of a memory to make it all worthwhile."
"We love Hermanus and try to do the breakaway as often as possible. The views, food and restaurants are excellent. There is more than enough to do and the galleries is worth a visit."

"Doringbaai is the jewel of the West Coast, it is only a pity that the crayfishing no longer takes place there and as a result many of its inhabitants are quite poor. But one gets the impression that this quiet and tranquil West Coast village will see new life once the dirt road that links it with Grafwater, Vredendal and Lamberts Bay is tarred. The entire West Coast will one day see many more holiday makers and this will uplift the communities that call this wonderful coast their home!"
"Verkeer is 'n nagmerrie! Baie dinge om te doen in Mosselbaai, maar vat baie lank as gevolg van slegte verkeer! Dit voel asof die dorpie oorbewoon is en daar is net teveel mense tydens hoogseisoen. Daarom is Grootbrak 'n bietjie beter vir daardie regte vakansie-gevoel in die natuur. "
"Wildernis is a wonderful place for a holiday. Great beaches and loads of other things to do. It is just a pity that all the restaurants are closed on Christmas and New Years."
"Ons het die lekkerste Weskusdisse (oesters, kerrievisbredie en wildspastei) geniet by die Square Spoon. Daar is ook baie buitelanders wat die klein dorpie besoek het, dus bespreek vroegtydig. Ons het by 3 ander restaurante aangeklop wat almal vol bespreek was. By die vierde ene was daar gelukkig 'n kansellasie. Verder, herinner die boustyl van al die huise in die dorp mens aan 'n Griekse dorp. Die water is leeukoud. Hier kom eet, drink en ontspan jy. Voete was 10 sekondes in die water, dan begin dit pyn."
"Lieflik om te rus. Lekker fietsrypaadjies. Die strande is lekker om met klein kinders te speel."
"Paternoster is 'n pragtige plek, maar maak net seker in watter deel van die dorp jy bespreek ... jou buurman versteur dalk die rus en vrede met harde musiek; onaardige rookreuke; kuiergaste en geskel en skree waarvoor ek as vakansieganger glad nie lus gehad het nie, maar sal beslis weer teruggaan om dit behoorlik te geniet."
