Luxurious, comfortable. We had a wonderful weekend, the host was very helpful and available to assist in any way. The amenities were top tier, the kiddies enjoyed the courtyard and the short distance to the beach. Better than the description.

Heerlik. Die huis is goed toegerus om 10 mense te akkommodeer. Alles werk! Ons het heerlik onder die oop onderdak lapa gekuier en gebraai! Die kamers is nie ruim nie, maar baie gemaklik uitgelê.

Baie dankie vir julle mooi terugvoer! Ons is bly om te hoor dat julle die huis goed toegerus gevind het en dat alles lekker gewerk het. Dit klink of die kuier en braai onder die lapa ’n hoogtepunt was – dis presies waarvoor daardie spasie bedoel is. Dankie ook vir die eerlike kommentaar oor die kamers – ons fokus daarop om dit so gemaklik en prakties moontlik in te rig. Ons hoop om julle weer in die toekoms by Cape Creek Cottage te kan verwelkom.

Layout works well but disappointed with the detail. Kitchen not well equipped - no decent sized salad bowl, no peeling and food prep knives, wine opener broken. Oven and pans in the oven were very dirty. Some of the crockery had to be washed before we used it.

We’re sorry to hear about the issues with the oven and pans—this has been flagged with our cleaning team, and we’ll ensure it’s rectified immediately. We do wish we had known during your stay, as we would have happily arranged for the team to come and resolve this for you. Regarding the kitchen items, we’re a little surprised, as we’ve recently stocked the home with a full set of salad bowls, a knife block with various knives, a vegetable peeler, and multiple corkscrews. Our team has since confirmed these are all still in place, but we’re sorry if they weren’t easy to locate. In the future, please don’t hesitate to reach out during your stay—we’re always happy to assist. As a small business, we take great pride in maintaining our home to a high standard and ensuring our guests have a comfortable stay.
