Highly recommend Doornkloof if you're looking for a beautiful, remote getaway. We had a wonderful stay at Doornkloof. The location is exquisite - remote, surrounded by 360-degree sheer mountains and orchards in front, and we barely saw another soul during our stay. The cottage is tastefully done with everything you could need. With the autumnal weather settling in, we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub/pool, which Riana kindly heated up for us before we arrived on the first night. And Riana was a terrific host - friendly, helpful, attentive. Highly recommend Doornkloof if you're looking for a beautiful, remote getaway.

Peaceful. This location was amazing. End of the road in the back of the Montague Mountains. Incredible.

A peaceful spot to escape the world. A beautiful, peaceful spot - perfect for our family who enjoy walks, runs, and cycles in beautiful surroundings. The splash pool/hot tub is a special touch. The cottage is done up so beautifully with special touches, down to the most beautiful homemade pottery plates!

Very peaceful hidden little gem. We enjoyed it very much. Very peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Kids loved the hot tub and the board games. Riana was very friendly and helpful. 3 nights was too little, so hoping to visit soon again. No cellphone signal, so we were very grateful for the WiFi.

Peace and quiet in a cosy cottage. This is a beautiful place to stay. Such a gorgeous setting on a working farm with orchards and mountain views. Cosy and well set up with tasteful decor. Lovely pool/hot tub too. Hosts are wonderful and very accommodating. We highly recommend.

Doornkloof is Afrikaans, stylvol, en rustig. Heerlik! Die beste wegbreek met klein kindertjies op die plaas. Veilig, rustig en asemrowend mooi. Kan ook net sowel 'n romantiese wegbreek wees vir 'n volgende keer.

Rus vir die siel. Ons as gesin het baie lekker by Doornkloof gebly.
