Breakage Deposit

A refundable breakage deposit of R2000 is payable directly to the property.

House Rules

Final rental amount and any additional fees must be paid to the property management company no later than 30 days/1 month before arrival.

There is no backup supply of electricity in the event of loadshedding. There are, however, rechargeable lights, and the stove top is gas.

A maximum of 3 people are allowed to stay over, including children. Please do not exceed this number on any given night. The bedroom is open plan with 1x Queen-size bed and 1x 3/4 bed.

Uncapped WiFi and full package DStv are included. The TV is a smart TV.

A refundable breakage deposit is required upon check-in. Please notify the Management Team of any damages or defects noticed in the house or on the property, visible upon arrival, up to 2 days after occupation. The Tenant shall notify the property manager within 2 days of arrival of any defects in the premises. Failure to notify will be deemed as an acknowledgement that the premises were received in good order and condition. Please also report any damages or breakages incurred during your stay. The deposit will be refunded upon departure, should nothing be broken or damaged. In the event of damages exceeding the deposit, the Tenant agrees to make payment in full within seven days of receipt of proof of the breakages or damages sustained.

Children of all ages are welcome; however, please take care of small children due to the height and nature of this property. There is no safety fence or gates at stairways, and no safety net on the swimming pool. You need to keep an eye on small children for their safety. The owners and property management company will not be held liable in any way.

Please bring your own baby cot and high chair.

Linen, bath, and beach/swimming towels are provided. Please do not use bath towels as beach/swimming towels.

No pets are allowed on the property. The owners live on site with their pets (dogs and cats) who may come visit.

No smoking indoors. Please discard cigarettes in the ashtray provided and not on the patio, gardens, or down toilets.

Unruly and/or noisy behaviour will result in eviction, with no refund. No parties or events are permitted at the property. Please respect the property and your neighbours. No loud music or noise after 22h00.

Noise policy: This accommodation is situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood, and the owners and other residents live on-site. Loud music, parties, or any excessive noise should be avoided at all times to preserve the serene and tranquil setting of the estate. No loud music or noise will be tolerated. The owners and property management company reserve their rights.

A cleaning surcharge will be charged should the tenants not leave the property in reasonable condition for occupation, or if check-out happens later than the specified time. This will be withheld from your breakages deposit.

The house has septic tanks. Only human waste and toilet paper should go down the toilets, and septic tank-friendly cleaning materials should be used.

Housekeeping service is included once per week for bookings of 7 nights or longer. For shorter stays, housekeeping service is not included but is available as an optional extra. Please advise well in advance if you require this service, as it is outsourced and subject to availability.

This accommodation is fully self-catering. Kindly provide your personal consumables.

Parking: There is one designated parking space on-site for guest use.

The area is home to wildlife, including birds and bushbucks.

Due to the natural surroundings, charcoal is to be used in the portable braai, and wood can be used in the fire pit braai. Please ensure all fires are completely extinguished if unattended or upon departure, as this property is a high fire risk area.

The property is in nature; please keep a watchful eye for snakes and other creatures.
