An experience which allowed me to find the breathing space I desperately needed. My stay at Jongnooientjiesfontein was absolutely superb. It offered a beautifully clean, practical, perfect space with everything I needed. I experienced it to be a safe haven, a place of peace, privacy and tranquility; a place where the soul can breathe and find rest. It is perfectly located with easy access to the town and to the beach, whilst at the same time, just enough distance away from all the activity, thereby offering silence, peace and stillness. The hostess was tremendously kind and gracious, approachable and most accommodating. She maintained the art and perfect balance of being a quiet, respectful and available presence nearby, just enough for one to know she is there should one need anything - yet without being too strong a presence for one to feel one's privacy is undermined. I would recommend Jongnooientjiesfontein to anyone seeking peace, stillness and privacy.

Very comfortable and convenient. Our stay was very comfortable.

The hostess needs to be more professional towards guests. I come away with my nephew to have respite from my husband who has dementia, and my nephew has to care for his mother of 91. So these stays are vitally important to recharge our batteries. We chat about our situations back home and support each other with advice. We were talking on the balcony until the hostess came upstairs at 10pm and her words were, "Please go inside. You're making a lot of noise." There's a braai there, and I'm sure people sit and chat. All she needed to say in a tactful way was, "Please keep your voices down" or have a notice up saying, "No talking on the balcony after 10:30." It spoilt the stay away. We certainly had no intentions of braaing the next night. And please tell her those rusks must be a year old. The next afternoon, while having a rest, a mower, weed eater, and blower went on for 90 minutes from 3-4:30pm. All in all, it wasn't the peace we needed, although we loved Paternoster and walked for miles.

Awesome vakansie en kannie wag om weer te gaan nie! My moeder was saam en ons het ons gate uit geniet. Die plek was so skoon en netjies, ons kon 'n lekker vuurtjie aansit en die uitkyk met al die wit huisies was pragtig. Die kamers was so goed toegerus met alles wat mens nodig kan kry en nog meer. Baie lekker geleë en loopafstand van alles.

Gerus. Ons het baie lekker gebly, maar was onbewus dat die woonstel bo op 'n afgetredene se woning gebou is. Dus was die klankuitset by die braai bietjie harder as verwag en het die eienaar ons daarvan bewus gemaak.
