Quiet getaway ideal for large groups. Upon arrival we were greeted and welcomed by Betu and Goodman. Goodman even helped to carry everything from the vehicles into the house. The house is spacious and well equipped. We were provided with wood for the boma and braai, and Goodman cleaned the braai and boma every day and made sure we had enough wood. There is a small dam with kurpers, we were only able to see and catch very small kurpers. The walking trail is about 5 km and I would recommend it - it is a very beautiful area with beautiful views. We felt safe in the house and on the farm all weekend, and you also get a panic button that is linked to a security company. This is an ideal getaway for larger groups - the house and rooms are spacious with plenty of sleeping space and bathrooms. There is about 4 km of dirt road to drive before you get to the farm. Although you can drive the road with a normal vehicle, there are many parts where the road is bad and you have to drive slowly, especially if it rains. For us it was a nice, peaceful break, just a short drive from Johannesburg. The area is beautiful, quiet and you are surrounded by the beautiful mountains, trees and nature.
