Mlondozi Self-catering Chalet offers comfortable and fully equipped accommodation in a security complex, only 5 minutes from the Malelane Gate entrance to the Kruger National Park.
The chalet is not affected by loadshedding as the electricity is provided by the RCL Sugar Mill that generates its own power.
The Malelane area is famous for its sugar cane, bushveld and tourism and provides a tranquil, holiday village atmosphere to the visitors. The garden apartment is located in the prestigious Mhlatikop, a unique neighbourhood just a few km outside Malelane village.
The chalet, suitable for 4 people, is located on the owner's property. It is private and quiet with its own entrance separate from the house and a spacious parking space.
There are 4 single beds in the spacious open-plan room. The separate bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet and basin.
The kitchenette has basic self-catering appliances, such as a 2-plate stove, small oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, coffee- and tea-making facilities, crockery and cutlery.
The patio is surrounded by a small enclosed garden where guests can braai and relax. The garden is the home of many local birds, monkeys and bushbabies.
For the warmer days, there is a big zinc tub with cold water in the garden for guests to cool off.
The accommodation is ideal for business travellers who prefer privacy and self-catering near RCL Malelane, and are especially suitable for tourists as a base for visits to the southern Kruger National Park, 2 km away, as well as Swaziland, 45 km away, Mozambique, 60 km away, Barberton, 70 km away and surrounding tourist attractions.
A walking route of about 3 km, which has recently been laid out through the natural woodland areas within the security complex, offers guests the opportunity to go for a nice walk, watch birds and also just sit quietly and enjoy the natural beauty, in a safe woodland environment.
