Good. The rooms were comfortable, the showers were not great. The breakfast was crazy good and the staff at breakfast were incredible; the staff alone made the stay worthwhile.

Won't stay over here again. Hotel staff are friendly, helpful and professional; however, the hotel is run down and in desperate need of some TLC. Rooms are basic, only coffee and tea facilities, no place to keep anything cold, i.e. a small bar fridge in the room would have been welcome. TV channels are limited, no DStv. Shower needs some attention; the shower head is too close to the wall and cannot be adjusted, so you cannot stand under the spray. When anyone else in the adjacent rooms opens a tap or flushes the toilet, the shower water turns to a small trickle. A small shelf in the shower would be great to place items on. There is one above the basin, but you have to step out of the shower to reach items on that shelf. Some hooks in the bathroom would be great to hang clothes on. Parking is limited and difficult to manoeuvre in and out when the parking area is full. Our little patio was tiny, barely fitting two chairs. The patio was also dirty and the walls had bird droppings all over them. It was disappointing when the hotel and bar closed at 16:00 on both Old Year's Eve and New Year's Day, leaving us without an option for dinner as all restaurants in town were either closed or fully booked.

Satisfactory. The staff are not interested in the local tourist. Their focus is on the tourist groups from outside the Western Cape and beyond. I waited almost 2 hours for supper and had to find another restaurant. When I needed wine glasses, no one could provide me with any, and I had to buy 2 at a liquor shop.

Perfect. Lovely. No fuss, simple, clean, comfortable. All you need.

Looking forward to another stay at the Paternoster Hotel. Wonderful staff, comfortable room and well situated - a few minutes' walk to Paternoster's main destinations.

Comfortable and convenient for restaurants and pubs. Very comfortable in a nice central location.

Rustig, gerieflik, naby strand. Ek het heerlik gebly by Paternoster hotel. Baie dankie vir die gratis opgradering na see-uitsig kamer! Die kamer is netjies en gerieflik ingerig met alles wat nodig is - en suite badkamer, WiFi, koffie maak geriewe, waaier, verwarmer en 'n privaat balkon met see-uitsig. Dit was spesiaal om daar te sit met 'n koffietjie en die uitsig te geniet. Stapafstand van strand en restaurante. Ontbyt ingesluit met keuses vir elke smaak.
