Surprisingly not as advertised. Unfortunately the relatively nice stay was marred by the fact that the unit was not as advertised. The kitchen was nice, but the drawers kept opening by themselves, there was no hot water in the kitchen, and the benches placed in the kitchen that were supposedly to be the living area that was advertised were cramped and blocked the braai area in the kitchen. The air conditioner in that area also did not work. In December. The rooms were nice, but there was one less room than advertised. The parking was nice, but it was not private parking or entrance as advertised. We were asked not to open the bathroom window in December. All in all, the place is OK, but not at that price, and they should fix the errors in the description of the place. We left the owners a full bottle of dishwashing liquid, as they seemed to not have enough, taking into consideration what they left us. I know it's self-catering, but two toilet rolls for an advertised 4-bedroom unit for 4 days? (Yes, I know it is actually a 3-bedroom unit). The sea view is also a bit of a tiptoe on the stoep kind of thing.

I allowed you to book in at 10am instead of the standard time of 2pm. You came in with a trailer, 2 motorbikes and a bakkie which I did not know of or was not made aware of before your arrival. This meant you took up 3 parking spaces inside the rental premises perimeter instead of the normal one for 4 adults. I had to make a special parking area available for your motorbike trailer inside the premises perimeter. The host uses the same gas geyser for the host's shower as the kitchen in the rental property, and there is still hot water! The kitchen, lounge and braai are in 1 space (open plan). I tried the air conditioner today and it is working; it has a slight drip which will be fixed during your rental period in December (24 to 28). I could not obtain a technician to repair the kitchen air conditioner at that time of the year. You paid R600 per person per night in peak season (during Christmas Day long weekend), which according to the area data is just below the average. Parking is behind an electric gate, right in front of the house. You had your own private entrance at the front door of the premises; the host's private entrance to the bottom of the house is at the back. There was enough dishwashing liquid for 4 days, and in addition, there is a dishwasher with enough tablets to do dishes for 4 days. I provided 4 toilet rolls, 2 toilet rolls in each bathroom. Self-catering means you buy your own if needed. You didn't mention the internet that went off when you went out and left your children at my place unattended.

Well priced accommodation. All was exactly as advertised. Great value for money. Just a little cold during the winter.

Awesome place! It was child-friendly and the kids could swim and play freely. We loved that the braai area was indoors.
