Horrible, won't do it again, what a way to celebrate Valentine's Day.
What a disappointment. We were not on the guest list at all and they were fully booked. They put us up in another guesthouse, but it was only a self-catering unit. So we missed out on the swimming pool (which was grassy and not swimmable), as well as the jacuzzi in the unit. We were most looking forward to the jacuzzi, as I have a back problem and the hot showers always have a good effect.
The reception area was very basic and unmanned when we arrived. At the reception area there was an open door that led to a storage/ironing room, which was very untidy to say the least. The receptionist was very casually dressed and was very unprofessional.
The owner was helpful on the phone after first laughing at us for a comment my husband made. The website responded to our WhatsApp with a call back (from abroad), and when we called, we were put on an automated waiting line that incurs international charges. They then called us back four hours later.

Wat ’n teleurstelling. Ons was glad nie op die lys van gaste nie en hulle was vol bespreek. Hulle het ons in ’n ander gastehuis gehuisves, maar dit was net ’n selfsorg-eenheid. Ons het dus uitgemis op die swembad (wat grasgroen was en nie swembaar nie), asook die jacuzzi in die eenheid. Ons het die meeste uitgesien na die jacuzzi, aangesien ek ’n rugprobleem het en die warm spuite altyd ’n goeie uitwerking het.
Die ontvangsarea was baie eenvoudig en onbeman met ons aankoms. By die ontvangsarea was daar ’n oop deur wat na ’n stoorkamer/strykamer gelei het, wat baie onnet was om die minste te sê. Die ontvangsdame was baie informeel aangetrek en was baie onprofessioneel.
Die eienaar was hulpvaardig oor die telefoon nadat sy ons eers uitgelag het oor ’n opmerking wat my man gemaak het. Die webtuiste het gereageer op ons WhatsApp met ’n bel-terug (uit die buiteland), en toe ons bel, is ons op ’n outomatiese waglyn gesit wat internasionale kostes oploop. Hulle het ons toe vier ure later teruggeskakel.
