A truly special stay in an absolute gem. Nothing was as bittersweet as checking out of this gem of an apartment. With an easily accessible deck at the front and another at the back, one overlooking the ocean, the other facing a breathtaking mountain adorned with a waterfall, we experienced both worlds, a rare vantage point for this property. The architecture deserves high praise. The property’s design took my mind on a marathon, thoughtful, striking, and endlessly engaging. With expansive sliding doors on both sides, a symmetrical high roof, and an abundance of space, the design continually drew my attention. My mind kept wandering, appreciating the care and creativity evident in every detail.

Baie rustig. Ons het die Trailhouse baie geniet, baie rustig en stil. Kamer (en die hele huis) was baie netjies en skoon. Kon lekker laat slaap sonder enige geraas om ons. Goeie waarde vir jou geld.

Lovely. We had a lovely stay over the weekend at the Trailhouse. It felt like a home away from home. It was so neat and tidy, and the hostess was super friendly and most helpful! We also appreciated the majestic mountain view from our room that surrounded us. Will definitely return and recommend the Trailhouse with confidence!

Peaceful, wonderful, amazing. I had an incredible time here at The Trailhouse. Everything about it was perfect and just what I needed to get away from Cape Town for a bit. The Trailhouse itself is located in such a beautiful place, surrounded by the mountains and ocean views. I cannot wait to book my stay at The Trailhouse again.

Chilled. Great, everything was pleasant. Grey drizzle and overcast but made the most of it. Close to Clarence Drive so can be a bit noisy with cars flying by if that's not your thing.

Lovely stay in clean, comfortable room. Lovely room with a private balcony and sea view, clean and comfortable. Ceiling fan which was nice on a hot night. Some traffic noise from Clarence Drive, but it was considerably quieter at night. The host was very helpful. Would stay again.
