Ons was aangenaam verras oor die oase in die middel van die Karoo. A hidden gem! Die gasvrou was baie behulpsaam, ons het heerlik gebly.

Relaxing and calm. The place is lovely and the views are a stargazer's dream. A few minutes outside the calm and charming town. Definitely worth spending a couple of nights to unwind.

Recommended! Madri is a very friendly, helpful, hospitable host. The house is great: I could live there. From the shady terrace, you have beautiful views and the peace and quiet in the Karoo makes you zen. One of our favourite places in South Africa!

Totally chilled in the Karoo. An absolute gem of a house, so well-equipped and comfortable, decorated with flair and designed to keep the Karoo heat at bay. Brilliant pool area to lounge away the days and stunning vista over the edge of the PA Karoo veld. We just loved it, was wonderful and we hope to be back in the future.

Beautiful farm house, everything you need. Lovely patio with view and pool. 5 mins from town. Thankful that it had a pool as it was extremely hot.

Wonderful stay. Beautiful landscape. Everything you need. We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful view and lovely stoep to spend your days. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Just far enough out of town to enjoy the tranquillity and beautiful landscape but still only a 5-minute drive to town.

Highly recommended, it has everything you need for self-catering. Uitkyk House has everything you need, a fully equipped kitchen and home. It is quiet and the view is amazing. The pool is the perfect depth! Uitkyk House is a perfect stop for a weekend and even a longer holiday. We will definitely return.

Peaceful, beautiful, quiet. This was our second stay at Uitkyk House because we loved it so much the first time. For us, the location was perfect. Close enough to the town of Prince Albert so we could venture in and out really easily and enjoy everything it has to offer, but just far out enough to feel away from everything, immersed in the stark beauty of the Karoo. Beautiful setting and veld views, we'd sit for hours on the stoep watching the changing colours of the Karoo and the scrub hares, tortoises and even a buck or two. The house is spacious, clean and had more than everything we needed or wanted. We will definitely be back again.
