Pleasant. No concerns. Quite satisfied. Very affordable. We arrived after dark while it was raining heavily and we departed before light, in the rain. Thus it was just a quick overnight stop. It had been a long week and we were exhausted. We were sound asleep between 7:30 and 8:00 pm. Bed, covers and cushions were great. Everything was clean, neat and tidy. Loved the Jacobs instant coffee, the fresh full cream milk and the tasty rusks which we devoured quickly. Well equipped kitchenette. Cute kettle. Great bathroom. No complaints. We spent most of our time sleeping that we did not take everything in, in detail. Due to our time schedule we could not meet our host. However, she was very communicative via cell phone which was reassuring.

Recommended for anyone wanting a quiet time away. Neat and clean accommodation with everything we needed to make our weekend comfortable.

From viewing the accommodation on the website, the place already looked lovely, but seeing it in person was an even better experience. The guesthouse exceeded expectations in every way. It is intimate, exceptionally neat, and beautifully maintained. Everything felt clean, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The backyard is truly refreshing, peaceful, well kept, and inspiring. Sitting there, you can’t help but feel relaxed and clear-minded. It’s the kind of view that sparks creativity and makes you think of new ideas, or simply enjoy the quiet escape from daily life. The owner was incredibly polite and welcoming from our very first interaction, which made the stay feel even more personal and pleasant. Her warmth and attentiveness added a special touch to the overall experience. I would definitely recommend Uitsig Guesthouse to anyone looking for a change of scenery, even if you’re already from Wellington (7655). It’s the perfect getaway without having to travel far. Overall, it was an exceptionally pleasant stay and a truly refreshing experience. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

We needed some alone time, and this was perfect. Was nice and peaceful.

Overall a good place to reset and relax! Very pleasant hosts. Made everything comfortable for us. Will go back anytime. Garden section very nice and refreshing, also provides us with privacy.
