Dit was ongemaklik. Die spasie in die woonstel is baie klein en derhalwe is toerusting moeilik bereikbaar. Dit is goed vir een persoon wat nie wil kook of daar eet nie. Toegang is ook deur die karafdak, so dit is baie beknop.

Rude hosts and sub par space. We originally booked a place to stay in Tulbagh for the weekend, which fell through due to an error with the website team. They moved us to this location as it was the closest available spot to Tulbagh for our dates. I looked briefly at the photos and was happy to accept. We travelled from Cape Town on Friday, and I phoned Martie at 10:30 a.m. on Friday to ask if we could have a late check-in, which she said would be fine as long as it was before 10:00 p.m. We arrived at 9:50 p.m. on Friday and were rudely received by her husband, Ben, who was very annoyed at us arriving at that time. He showed me the room, which is a garage that has been converted into a room next to where they park their cars. The room was clean but very small. It looks like it was a room for a live-in domestic worker that had been converted into a guest room. We didn't spend the second night at the accommodation, as we managed to find another place in Tulbagh for the Saturday night. At 9:50 a.m., we were arriving at the accommodation to collect our things and noticed a WhatsApp message from Martie, sent at 9:30 a.m., saying we had better get to the house before 10:00 a.m. or our bags and belongings would be taken out and left outside, and they would not be responsible for any loss. Ben called as we were pulling into the driveway at 9:50 a.m. to ask where we were. I told him we were driving into the driveway. We then collected our things and went to hand in the keys. I knocked on the door to return the keys, but they didn't want to come to the door. I phoned Martie, and she hung up. She phoned me back, and I said we were on our way out and wanted to return the keys. She told me her husband said to put them in the box outside once we left. Very rude and unwelcoming hosts. I would not have left a review if it wasn't for this terrible experience and the way they dealt with us. Other things to be aware of: when checking in, Ben showed me the DB board and asked that I turn off the geyser switch after using it and turn it back on 20 minutes before we wanted hot water so they could save electricity. The other worrying thing is that it appears much of the renovation work was done as DIY, and there is an open and exposed electrical choc-block connector for the hanging lights next to the bed, which is glued to the metal bed frame. This is the worst experience I've ever had at a B&B. Stay away.

Heerlik. Skoon en netjies met ekstra omgee.

Ons het heerlik gerus in 'n veilige en rustige omgewing. Ons gasvrou was vriendelik en gasvry. Woonstel, skoon en netjies, met 'n heerlike matras. Alhoewel dit op die eienaars se perseel is, is dit heeltemal privaat. Dit is naby die dorp. Die stort is goed. Private braaiplekkie was 'n bonus.

Ons het lekker gebly. Die plekkie is klein, maar skoon en het alles wat jy nodig het. Die beddens was baie gemaklik! Ons het 'n gasstofie gekry om vroegoggend koffie te kan maak, so selfs beurtkrag kry hulle nie onder nie.
