Heerlike afskakel en "recharge". Gerieflik, netjies, rustig - dit was net wat ons nodig gehad het. Die gasvrou is fantasties en het ons laat voel of ons eintlik al ou pelle is. Die warm plaasbrood en konfyt wat sy oorgestuur het, was heerlik, en die atmosfeer was dadelik huislik. Ons sal vir seker weer daar gaan draai.

I had a very good stay. I really enjoyed my stay, it's a beautiful place and the owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The only problem I had was that there were way too many flies, which was quite annoying, especially when trying to eat or sleep. I would have loved to have air conditioning in all the bedrooms as well.

Hi Chandre Thank you for the kind words and review. It’s good to know you enjoyed your stay with us. With regards to the air-conditioning, it is listed on the LS booking platform as only available in the living room area. Being on a working farm, flies after thunderous weather or very humid periods can be a problem, especially if all the doors and windows are left open. We apologise if this caused you any inconvenience during your stay. We would have been happy to assist with citronella candles if you had brought this to our attention during your check-ins. We are glad that you enjoyed your overall stay with us and hope to have you back again. Have a blessed 2026 season.

Stunning farm stay, but unit quality varies. The establishment was very efficient in responding to all correspondence during the booking process. The hostess was friendly and regularly checked to see if we needed anything. The views and setting are much better than shown in the photos. However, there is one issue: the quality of the individual units is inconsistent. The cabin, which is described as “entry-level” accommodation and priced the same as the other units, is in serious need of renovation both inside and out. In particular, the bathroom has a rusted bath and hand basin, along with several other issues, including a very strong and persistent smell of wood sealant. Overall, despite this issue, it is a lovely, laid-back farm accommodation with endless, well-manicured gardens and a relaxing atmosphere.

Hi Carol, thank you for your kind feedback and comments - this is much appreciated. We are happy to receive feedback. We take note regarding the old Victorian bath and basin in Cinsaut, which have an 'old water stain' mark. I will, however, check your referral to the 'rust' you are referring to. I'm not sure about the comment on the units priced the same. En-suite rooms (as well as Dam rooms) and self-catering units are priced differently on the platform as per details listed of the different units. Regarding the wooden cabin, we have not done any wood sealant in this unit in the past six months; the wooden floors of this unit as well as the loft unit are only treated with lavender wood polish weekly. We apologise if this 'fragrance' caused you any inconvenience. It was lovely having you over December and we hope to host your group in the future. Thank you for being such pleasant and kind guests during your stay. I’m happy to know that you enjoyed our farm and gardens overall. Have a super blessed 2026.
