"The inhabitants of Harrismith and the business people are trying their best to maintain the town, but the mismanagement by the municipality over the past 28 years caused the town's infrastructure to deteriorate, like pot holes in the streets and the beautiful Town Hall vandalised and locked up etc. Harrismith has a rich history and surrounding natural beauty. Thus, there is much potential for tourism and new work opportunities. But, new leadership with knowledge, wisdom, integrity, skills, experience and ethical values in the municipality is urgently needed. I give the natural beauty, business people, the inhabitants of the town and the farmers in the area 5 stars, but the municipal management 0 stars."
"We did not spend much time in Fouriesburg. Seems the town has been a bit neglected in terms of roads and development. Quaint but a run-down little town. Had a pub lunch, very friendly locals. Personally I would not stay there."
