"Daar is uitstekende restaurante met goeie kos en puik diens. Alles in die dorp is stapafstand van mekaar. Wynproe deur om op die Wine Tram te gaan is absoluut die moeite werd. Ons het die paar dae in Franschhoek baie geniet."

We only learned about them through our friends, i.e. the Saturday market which is great, Simply Bee, and we now also understand there is an art gallery and a small theatre in town. We always buy meat at the local butcher to take make home and there is a wonderful nursery not far from town. I am sure I am missing a couple of things, but these can be draw cards for people from the city to visit Hopefield and stay in the hotel!"
