Perfect escape. Feel like the world slowed down for a moment. This weekend, we traded busy schedules for winding roads and found ourselves tucked away in the most beautiful little cabin high among the trees in Robertson. Surrounded by mountains, endless views, and nothing but the sounds of nature, it felt like the world slowed down for a while.

Perfect winter cabin. A very nice cottage for a small family or couple. Very cozy and perfect for winter with its inside fireplace. The beauty is you are fully in nature and a lovely dam right above the cottage.

Perfect, I must return. Perfect still, peaceful getaway. Lovely to be enclosed in the blue gums and yet just a short stroll to the dam. The host responded promptly to queries. The cottage was well stocked with all the basics you might need. Bring dishwashing supplies. You do need a high clearance vehicle to get to the cabins. I will definitely be coming back - hopefully for a longer stay next time!

Magical forest getaway! Like camping without the fuss of tents. Boshuisie was such a lovely little cabin tucked away in a gorgeous corner of the Robertson mountains. We wanted to take a camping trip, without the hassle of setting up tents and dealing with deflating mattresses, and Boshuisie proved to be the perfect option for our little family weekend. We loved the off-grid, rustic setting and enjoyed disconnecting from the world outside to focus on family connections. The battery-operated cabin lights didn't quite last the 3 nights we were there, but they were a helpful addition as there is no source of electricity and we only had limited camping torches and lanterns otherwise. Laetitia and Eric were such gracious hosts! They put so much thought into providing all of the basics and a few little extras that you don't even think you'd need. They also kindly allowed us to charge some devices in their office when we needed. It was such a treat to enjoy this secluded getaway in the heart of nature!
