My stay was excellent. The room was really cute and clean, perfect for what I needed. It is also really safe and quiet in the neighbourhood, and the property itself is very secure. The owners are also very friendly and accommodating.

I stayed in the Loft. It's a wonderful leafy refuge from the bustle of Johannesburg. The hosts are great, helpful but not intrusive. I'm just sorry I didn't have time to sit out on the deck and enjoy the birds.

Very cosy, extremely welcoming and homey. The only drawback I'd say was the lack of a sink but it was near perfect.

The stay was for a day/one night at The Loft. I enjoyed every minute of it. My favourite part was definitely the balcony.

The hosts were absolutely lovely. The place is beautiful and is walking distance from Spar, a coffee shop, and other shops on the same street as Spar. The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful.

Rustige oase na 'n besige naweek.

Tussen die pragtie tuin met voëltjies wat vroegoggend al begin sing en super gemaklike matras, het ek so rustig wakker geword dat ek ure later as beplan eers gereed was om te vertrek. Die kamer is baie goed ingerig, netjies en skoon. Sal weer hier bespreek.

Coolest place I have ever gone to. The owner is friendly and accommodating and makes sure that you are safe at all times. I will definitely come back.

It's tidy and neat. The service is excellent. They explain everything to you about the area, which side is safe and which one is not. The check-out was 10, but they told us not to rush, we can leave at 11 because their next guests will check in at 1. They call the day before you arrive to confirm what time you are coming. They were so nice to us.

Friendly, conveniently located and home away from home.

Wirie made us feel at home, was welcoming and ensured that we had a very pleasant stay during this week - the setting is very welcoming and you feel very at home. It was warm and cozy and the location was perfect for our trips to Sandton and Rosebank. She even checked to make sure we arrived home safely - an unexpected, and very personal touch which we appreciated.

I enjoyed my stay at Cottonwood. It was comfortable, clean, private and safe.

It met all my expectations, is situated in a lovely area, is in a safe location. Set in a beautiful garden, and very quite.

Wirie en André het my soos familie laat voel.

Ek het vir drie weke in Olivewood gebly gedurende 'n werkbesoek by Wits. Die kamer was baie gemaklik met 'n pragtige tuinuitsig en tafeltjie om die winterson met 'n koppie koffie te geniet. Wirie en haar dogter Andanté bied heerlike aandetes aan wat baie goeie waarde is vir geld, so ek het sommer baie van hulle etes geniet. Dit was veral nuttig toe ek die tweede week Covid gekry het en moes isoleer. Wirie het mooi na my gekyk asof ek familie is, en altyd seker gemaak dat ek alles het wat ek nodig het. Sy het selfs medisyne by my kom aflaai. Die ligging was perfek vir my; naby Wits en stapafstand van Zoo Lake en Parkview se Tyrone Avenue. Die area is vrolik en veilig, en heerlik stil snags. Die internet het soms probleme gegee, maar hulle het moeite gedoen om dit vir my reg te maak. Daar het soms mense by my kamer ingekom toe ek daar was, om die router te check of skottelgoed te kom haal, wat soms 'n bietjie van 'n verrassing was. Dit het my nie soveel gepla nie maar sou dalk 'n ander tipe gas pla. Die honde is ook by die kamer in en uit so let wel as jy nie van honde hou nie. Dit was 'n heerlike kuier en ek sal beslis weer aanklok! Baie dankie Wirie, André, Andanté en Annemarie!

Uitstekende diens met netjiese, skoon kamer.

My man was in Jhb vir mediese behandeling. Hy was met ope arms verwelkom en Wirie en eggenoot het seker gemaak sy kar is veilig parkeer. Heerlike ete was vir hom voorberei na sy afspraak. Duisend dankies vir die gasvryheid en omgee.

Goeie en netjiese verblyf, gawe mense, mooi omgewing.

Vir die doel van my besoek aan Johannesburg was dit uiters geleë. My privaatheid is gerespekteer. Moeite is gedoen om na my behoeftes om te sien. Ek sal weer daar tuis gaan.

The guesthouse is well located with excellent security. It is spacious and clean with everything you will need for your stay. It is most definitely must stay and the garden gives it a great atmosphere.

Cottonwood is a family-run guest house that provides gourmet cuisine, and the staff are so friendly. A secure place to stay plus garage parking. I am definitely coming back.
