The Ezulwini team were welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the grounds and facilities are well maintained with lots of activities to keep the children busy, enabling the adults to also relax! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the time with the Ezulwini family. The game drive was a highlight, allowing us to see all the wonderful animals and learn more about them. We will most definitely consider staying with them in the future and highly recommend it. Thank you for the special time.

Worst experience ever!

I've been to so many different lodges and would never go back to Ezulwini Game Lodge. The WiFi didn't work. We were 5, and they only said we could use it for 4 devices and had a limit on data. I felt caged in, watching our every move. We stayed for two nights but didn't complete my stay check out and had to pay 50% for the rest of the days. For the price we paid, it's definitely not worth it. They have one TV at the Lapa which we couldn't watch our own programmes since others kept on using it. If we wanted to exit the premises, we had to text to exit all the time, which I felt they could have given us our own remote.

While we're sorry that you didn't enjoy your brief stay with us, and we appreciate the feedback on the WiFi, there are reasons for the issues you and your family faced. Firstly, the WiFi is limited as we accommodate up to 36 guests and if each guest has two or more devices, the available bandwidth would be significantly reduced, preventing guests from using the WiFi at all. The concept of a game lodge is for guests to relax, enjoy nature and the peace and quiet that the space allows. We apologise for not realising that the 5-year-old child would require their own device, but we have amended our WiFi policy to accommodate this in the future. You might also remember that you used 35GB of data in 24 hours, after which we availed an uncapped WiFi line so that you could attend to your work.
Regarding the TV, we do not mention anywhere in our listing that there are TVs in the units for guests, so your expectation of such was unfortunately misplaced.
As for the access control, I believe that private lodges across the country with robust security setups have the same policy. We do not permit self-drive safaris, so guests do not need to come and go as they wish. My phone is always on hand and guests are informed that they can contact me anytime to leave the property so that we can open the gates for them. Giving guests remotes would introduce potential security risks to both staff and fellow guests which we are not willing to risk.
In summary, we're sorry that we didn't meet your expectations. Different people appreciate different setups and ours is obviously not to your liking. That is fine, but please read the information provided carefully before booking a place in the future to fully enjoy your holiday. Browsing through the images provided by a property will also give you a good idea of what to expect.

Super netjiese en veilige lodge.

Jennifer het uit haar pad gegaan om vir ons dit 'n aangename tydjie te maak. Ons kon die buffels en ander wild vanaf die kamp by die voerkrippe dophou. Die kamp is super netjies en word baie goed in stand gehou. Groot hoeveelhede mense kan gerieflik geakkommodeer word (in styl). Lieflike kombuisgeriewe is beskikbaar.
