Like something from a fantasy novel! We stayed in the Esmeralda Wagon - it was so quaint, cosy, and intimate! The wagon itself is such a unique experience that everyone should try. Like something out of a fantasy novel! It had a surprising amount of storage space inside, a large bed, and was incredibly well insulated against the chilly Clarens nights! The area is quiet and perfect for a relaxing time away. Our host was gracious and welcoming and the rest of the staff were just as lovely. We were also treated to a car wash which completely surprised us and was really such a thoughtful gesture! 10/10 would recommend!

Loved it. We really enjoyed it and the pretty surroundings. I was not aware we had to share a shower, but there was a bath in the wagon. The space was a bit tight also.

The outside shower was added years later as an extra optional feature if a guest felt like a change or wanted to experience an outside waterfall shower. Yes, it is communal for all to share, which is explained on arrival. Thank you for your feedback on this; I have now gone and edited the wording on the description to state communal shower so guests can be aware in advance. As for the space, the concept is modelled as a tiny home glamping experience. We find it creates a couple's closeness and intimacy that really appeals to our guests. With the very occasional, I think 4 in the last 6 years, claustrophobic feelings inside, we are disappointed for you that you felt that way; it is important to have your personal space respected! Considerate, friendly and helpful hosts and a delightfully whimsical property with "mod cons" and comfort contained in a quaint gypsy caravan make for a memorable experience.
