House Chardonnay review.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at House Chardonnay in December. The house is absolutely stunning and was just perfect for our needs as a family. It has a lovely swimming pool and large entertainment area perfect for braais (BBQs) with family and friends. All the rooms are spacious, and there is a huge open-plan kitchen and dining room with skylights that cast a gorgeous golden light from the sunset across the walls in the evening. Beautiful house plants are found throughout, reflecting the beauty of the garden as well. While we were there in the summer, I can certainly imagine it being a lovely place to stay in the winter too, with a wood burner in the lounge which would make it lovely and cosy. The location of the house is perfect for wine tasting, with so many vineyards to visit nearby, many of which offer entertainment for children (which was helpful for us!). The property is quiet and secure, away from any crazy hustle and bustle, but only a short drive away from Somerset West shops, etc. The hosts are just so welcoming and genuine and came back to us quickly on any queries we had. House Chardonnay will be our first choice for accommodation when we visit again!
