Peaceful place. I would definitely recommend this place. My stay at Hout Bay Gem was absolutely amazing. Nicky was very friendly and helpful. My family and I enjoyed our stay.

No issues, thank you. Stay was wonderful and very friendly and helpful. Will definitely book at The Gem again if necessary. Thank you. The location of the GPS is incorrect and we battled to find the house; that was the only issue.

Good and satisfied stay. Had to deal with a beeping, but the location solved it the next day. It was pleasant and safe. The room was nice, although the shower needed more pressure.

Excellent! Warm, friendly host, good amenities and a great staycation. Nicky was an excellent host with a great team, well-kept venue, all the amenities you need and a warm welcoming vibe around the venue.

Spyt ons het dit bespreek. Eienaar baie onvriendelik, meer soos 'n losieshuis as 'n gastehuis en ons het dit nie verwag nie. Advertensie sê sy bly op die perseel, niks dat ons haar huis met haar deel nie.

Nina was very unpleasant rude to myself and other guests. Additionally, the guest house was left in an extremely unclean condition. This is a guest house and like a hotel there are other people on the premises.

Rasheed, we were disappointed with your behaviour towards our staff, as they always strive to provide guests with a friendly and professional service. Our cleaning team attends to the rooms daily, ensuring they remain immaculate for all guests. Unfortunately, the room was left in an unacceptable condition after your stay, with significant damage and soiling that required extra cleaning and repairs. This is not the standard we expect from our guests. We take pride in offering comfortable accommodation with quality mattresses and modern en-suite bathrooms, and we always aim to provide a welcoming and enjoyable experience.
