Fantasties. Ons het heerlik gebly, die Janet's was baie gerieflik en skoon. Mooi versorgde eenhede, met goeie aandag aan dekor en detail. Ons gasheer was baie verwelkomend, en het ons baie welkom laat voel.

Karoo charm and friendliness. Very comfortable accommodation and brilliant and friendly service. Our accommodation had old-charm/modern character and was decorated with perfection to detail. The kitchen is equipped with everything that you need to make a cup of coffee in the morning. It is recommended to have dinner at the Lords. The lamb chops option is delicious. Thank you again for looking after us with Karoo friendliness and charm.

Convenient, restful, clean, helpful service. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. A special thanks to Bronwyn for her warm and helpful assistance throughout our stay. We enjoyed staying in the Jan Black Cottage, which was a cozy and charming space, complete with a lovely little kitchenette. Safe parking. However, there were a few aspects that fell short of our expectations: the shower was quite slow, making it inconvenient to rinse off thoroughly. The water pressure seemed insufficient, which affected our comfort. At the Lord Carnarvon Small Hotel, we found the lamb shank lacked flavour, as if it had been boiled. If the dish cannot be prepared to a satisfying standard, it might be best to consider removing it from the menu. My husband chose not to eat the meat and requested a takeaway in a polystyrene container. Unfortunately, we were charged R20 for the container, which felt a bit unexpected. Overall, we felt that the meal did not offer good value for money (R230), and we decided to give the leftovers to some beggars on the street. Due to our less-than-satisfactory dining experience, we opted not to have breakfast at the guesthouse the following morning. Despite these moments, we still appreciated our overall stay and look forward to visiting again. Thank you for the memorable experience!

There were a few snags with the fixtures, but I didn't have a chance to report them. The room was not very spacious, but we managed once we had stowed our luggage as best we could. Comfortable beds, good aircon, and onsite breakfast was amazing in the Officer's Mess.

Baie gerieflik na 'n lang dag op die pad. Baie lekker, dankie. Behalwe as jy op die bed lê, is die bed se struktuur voor die TV. Bo die bagasierak is daar hangplek waar jy telkens jou kop stamp.

Comfortable. The stay was pleasant and convenient.

A comfortable stay. Stayed in 'Mrs Black', a quaint refurbished house from the early 1900s. Whilst the stay was great, it was difficult to determine what you can use in the house or what is a historical display.
