These Log Cabins each contain 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The bedroom contains a double bed and a shower en suite with a toilet and washbasin. The kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, and cutlery and crockery. The lounge contains a TV with selected DStv channels and a fireplace. Each cabin has a balcony with a Weber braai facility.

Identification Requirements
From 1 September 2017, all visitors aged 18 and older must present a valid identity document, passport, or alternative form of identification, such as a driver’s license, to enter the park.
Entrance Fees
Foreign visitors: R240 per day
SADC citizens with valid passports: R120 per day
South African citizens and residents with ID: R60 per day
Park Access
The gates of Golden Gate cannot be closed. The road through the park is a public road, so drop gates are not permitted.
Access control is managed at the two reception offices: Golden Gate and Glen Reenen Rest Camp.
Visitors with accommodation bookings arriving after 17:30 may collect keys at the Glen Reenen security office.
Road Conditions
Please note that a gravel road leads to the facilities. Guests should check road conditions with the park prior to arrival, as conditions may change due to unforeseen circumstances.
Rules & Safety
The use of drones within and over the park is strictly prohibited.
Smoking is not allowed inside the units.
Feeding wildlife is strictly forbidden; it may provoke aggression and endanger your life.
Limited outdoor lighting means guests should carry a headlamp when walking at night.
Hikers attempting day or overnight routes must carry sufficient water.
Pets are not permitted in the National Park.
