Amazing view and easy hospitality. Wonderful restfull place. Amazing sea view and wonderful shower and kitchen facilities. Great advise for local exploring from host.

Thank you for the great 5-star review. The lodge is run by the owner, and yes, that shower and kitchen was built by my son, who is a superb carpenter. That hardwood shower is great, and there's even a sea view. We have great spots to visit on our doorstep, the scone shack being the top favourite, plus all the surrounding nature, our stunning beach, and the incredible sunsets. All this at the tip of Africa and an hour from Cape Town; it's as good as it gets.

Absolutely fantastic. Janis was an amazing host. Met us at check-in, gave us a quick tour and told us a bit about Scarborough. The Olive Cottage was fantastic and the sunset was out of this world. Will definitely be back.

Thank you, Jonathan. As founder and owner of Scarborough Nature Lodge, I say with pride I do every check-in personally and love sharing all the hidden secrets of the area. The sunsets are always different, each one unique and wow, plus the early risers catch the sunrise and a coffee and fresh pastry at our local coffee spots. Scarborough is magical. Olive Cottage is always loved, its boutique simplicity with a class of luxury, with those folding stacker doors, where nature flows in. We appreciate the great review.

Beautiful wooden cabin with breathtaking views only half an hour out of the city. My husband and I had a wonderful staycation in the Olive Cottage. The view was out of this world, but we particularly loved the feel of being in a beautiful wooden cabin. We had initially booked for Tree-tops, but luckily our lovely host messaged to ask if we wanted to upgrade due to the weather being on the chillier side. We felt very welcome and well looked after! The cabin itself is beautifully finished and very cosy. You're also surrounded by amazing birdlife, and just a stone's throw away from the main restaurants, shops, and beach. We'll be back!

Sehr speziell, sehr besonders. Zum 2. mal in der sehr besonderen Unterkunft übernachtet. Wieder in der treetop etage mit dem wunderbaren Deck und der schönen Aussicht und viel Platz. Translation: Stayed for the second time in this very special accommodation. Again in the treetop level with the wonderful deck, beautiful view, and plenty of space.

Beautiful, breathtaking views, great location, caring host. Scarborough Nature Lodge gives you a feeling of being out in the middle of the bush, far away from society surrounded by nature at its best. Yet, just down the road you have the heart of Scarborough, walking distance to the beach with 360 degree views of utter beauty.
