House Rules
SeaSalt Rest is attached to the main house but remains completely private, separated by a closed interleading door. Guests in the main house and their pets may be present during the stay. The unit has its own private garden and entrance. Cleaning is provided by Ivy on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Basic amenities such as soap, toilet paper, and cleaning products are supplied. Guests stay at their own risk; the owners are not liable for any injury, accident, loss, or damage. A gate at the back by the pool connects the 2 properties, but remains locked.
Check-in is from 14:00 PM to 18:00 PM, and checkout is before 10:00 AM.
The property accommodates a maximum of 6 guests, and pets are welcome. Quiet hours are from 22:00 PM to 08:00 AM. Parties, events, commercial photography, and smoking are not permitted.
Guests are asked to treat the home as their own while enjoying their stay in beautiful Poortjies and Plettenberg Bay. The Lagoon is pet-friendly; however, if a pet is shy or fearful, it should be noted that dogs roam freely on the Lagoon. Guests are requested to pick up any mess their pets may leave during walks.
All doors and windows must be locked when leaving the property. Only registered guests are permitted to stay overnight. Guests are encouraged to relax, feel at home, and create beautiful memories during their stay at SeaSalt.
Before leaving, guests should gather used towels, dispose of trash, turn off lights, appliances, and electronics, return the keys, and ensure the property is locked. The house should be left in a tidy condition. Any used dishes should be washed, the braai cleaned if used, and furniture returned to its original place. These actions help maintain SeaSalt Rest in excellent condition for future guests.
