Denise is a very friendly host and took time out from her busy schedule to chat. Enjoyed our 3 nights at Groenberg. Accommodation was well equipped and comfortable. If required, it's wheelchair friendly.

Comfortable. The facility was good except for one set of cupboards that were secured with string and we were hesitant to use - there was no explanation for this though. All necessities provided except a clothing iron. The host was very accommodating when I requested checking in earlier and written communication was very good. Also compensated me for a car wash necessitated by a "gluey substance" discharged by a tree where I was parked on site. Only one let down which unfortunately put a blemish on the overall experience. Whilst the host indicated that she was looking forward to meeting us, this did not materialise. We stayed at four guesthouses during this trip and this was the only one where the host did not afford us the courtesy of personally welcoming us upon arrival as promised on WhatsApp - this whilst she was right on site as the unit is attached to the main house. I noted though (on the guest book) that other guests were afforded this privilege. No personal contact at all - not sure if it was a cultural or language issue? Whilst we are also private people, this I feel makes the difference between a good and a great experience. I stayed in facilities all over the country and abroad and it registers as the first one where the host chose to not personally welcome us.

I was on leave when we visited and I came back refreshed. The owner and her husband were very friendly, and they received us with our 11-month-old baby. The area is quiet and within walking distance to shops and a local park for some fresh air.

Wonderful stay! The place was very secure, clean, and tidy. Denise is a wonderful and friendly hostess. We enjoyed our surprise treats (rusks and chocolate). We had a great stay!

Heerlik gekuier. Alles wat 'n reisiger benodig, is voorsien. Heerlik gebly. Professionele, tegemoetkomende en behulpsame gasvrou. Ons beveel hierdie verblyfopsie met groot vrymoedigheid aan.

Denise was sweet and accommodating. Pleasant and comfortable with plenty of privacy.
