Had a wonderful stay at Stony Point Beach House.

We were 8 ladies sharing Stony Point Beach House. We liked the fact that each room had a shower. Even though it was cold and rained almost the whole weekend. It did not put a damper on our stay and enjoyment. We went for a walk to the Penguin Colony and the beach. It is a 5-minute walk from the house. Gretha our host was gracious and even offered me the use of the Wi-Fi at her private house as I had to attend a meeting which happened during loadshedding. Stony Point does have Wi-Fi but of course, with loadshedding it does not work. Thank you, Gretha, for your hospitality and for checking up on us. Highly recommend Stony Point for a holiday stay any time of the year.

Lovely stay.

The house had everything needed for a lovely getaway from City hustle and bustle. The fireplace was really great and heated up the entire first floor within minutes. The Host was very friendly and accommodating. The house is a few 100m from spotting penguins. Will definitely be back in the future.

Compact, warm and cosy with all the essentials.

All the rooms have an en-suite bathroom. There is a lovely outlook onto the mountains and sea. Just a short walk to see the penguins. We made full use of the lovely fireplace since it was a cold, wet winter weekend. Greta was very helpful.

Eerstens baie dankie aan die huiseienaar vir die lieflike gasvryheid, ons het heeltemaal tuis gevoel met aankoms, die huis het alle nodige toerusting.

Ons het elke oomblik geniet. Sal beslis weer teruggaan.

Die huis is binne loopafstand van die pikkewyn-kolonie, asook die restaurant en die strand.

Aangename naweek.

Die gasvrou was baie behulpsaam. Die kamers is lekker ruim, alles is daar wat nodig is.

What a thoughtful and wonderful home with a fantastic host! The location was superb, the home was very clean and thoughtfully laid out, there was nothing we needed and we had the best time and will definitely be back.

Ons het ons verblyf hier so geniet! Die huis is so skoon en netjies en baie goed ingerig. Die balkon is heerlik vir 'n oggendkoffie en om die hele dag die mooi uitsig en die wintersonnetjie te geniet. Die gasvrou, Greta, is ongelooflik behulpsaam en vriendelik. Ons sal vir seker weer hier oorbly.

I used it only as a base as my parents stay a road away permanently.

A beautiful home from home.

Miserable weather did not spoil the beauty of a home to enjoy family time in. Truly lovely, well equipped home. Each room en suite. Spacious living area. Warm indoor fire, great tv channels of music and entertainment. Seamless access. Great host.

Ons het heerlik gebly. Die huis is baie mooi reggemaak en het alles wat jy nodig het.

Die eienaar was baie hulpvaardig. Die huis is baie netjies en is baie mooi oorgedoen en het alles wat jy sal nodig hê. Die TV met Netflix en Showmax was ook lekker, veral as mens nie kon buite kuier as gevolg van die weer nie. Die gasbraai het ook baie gehelp as die wind waai. Great ligging - net om die draai van die pikkewyne. 'n Ekstra bonus was die alarm wat jy kon aktiveer as jy nie by die huis is nie. Ons sal vir seker weer gaan!

Laurence is fantastiese gasheer, en ons hopelik binnekort weer. Die huis so naby aan die see en ook maklik om te kry, as jy van die Kaap se kant af kom. Ons het erge wind gehad in Bettys, maar met die lieflike groot TV (het Netflix en Showmax), was die kinders baie gelukkig met die meestal binne wees. Die mooi deck met die gasbraai het weer vir ons ook gelukkig gehou vir die tyd in die huis. Die huis is superskoon en nuut, het ook omtrent alles wat jy nodig kan hê, bring net jou klere.
