Our stay was absolutely amazing. Everyone had a great time. We were a bit frightened when we arrived and were greeted by a family of baboons in the yard of the Bay Cottage, but otherwise they were harmless and we haven't seen them for the rest of the weekend. The accommodation was exactly as shown in pictures. Clean, tasteful, and everything you need was there. The area is serene and tranquil. Friendly people and a great host who was always on call when something was needed and who came around when we needed help with refilling the gas. Will definitely book again and recommend friends and family to experience this accommodation.

We would have liked to stay longer.

Awesome and relaxing.

First time visiting Pringlebay for a holiday and it was an awesome experience with a lovely stay at The Bay Cottage. Accommodation just as in pictures and everything was just a very relaxing time, a home away from home.

Home away from home.

A lovely experience indeed! Over the years, we have stayed in a few holiday accommodations around the Pringle Bay area. The Bay Cottage has certainly been the best so far in terms of overall scoring, and I would say it takes 2nd place for its location. We accidentally forgot to deactivate the alarm immediately upon entry. Within a few minutes, the security response was on-site to assess the situation. This was a great response. Please kindly acknowledge this back to the security company.

Pragtig en gerieflik ingerig. Veral met 'n swembad en skottelgoedwasser. Sal beslis weer hier kom bly en kan dit hoog aanbeveel.

Die huis is keurig en stylvol ingerig. Alles wat nodig is vir 'n gerieflike kuier en vakansie. Al wat gepla het was 'n rooster wat lanklaas skoongemaak is, terwyl daar streng voorwaardes is dat braai-area skoongemaak moet word. Manlief het die rooster een kyk gegee en ons het eerder pizza bestel. (Niemand is lus om roosters te skrop nie. ) Sekerlik kan die skoonmaakdiens wat skoonmaak voor nuwe gaste, ook die braaiarea skoonmaak? Dit het wel nie afbreek gedoen aan 'n heerlike vakansie nie. Die inklok en uitklok was ook moeiteloos. Ek wens hierdie mooie strandhuis het aan my behoort!

My kuier was fantasties, moet sê ek en my familie het dit geniet. My kinders was veilig en het hulle geniet, plek is mooi skoon en rustig.

Dus beslis 'n plek waarna ons weer sal gaan om te bespreek. Kinders was bietjie teleurgesteld oor die WiFi wat nie gratis was nie, maar alles was uitstekend. Ons het ons almal lekker geniet en dankie.

'n Ongelooflike lekker huis.

The Bay Cottage is 'n fantastiese huis om 'n webreeknaweek in Pringlebaai te geniet. Die huis was netjies, skoon, huislik en goed toegerus. 'n Lekker atmosfeer en mooi dekor.

The cottage was awesome and well kitted out for any stay.

We had a very pleasant stay. The cottage has everything you need and tastefully decorated. All was in working order, clean and well-equipped.

It had everything we wanted and we would definitely book it again.

Good location, nice interior, poor customer service.

The location was good and the cottage was comfortable. Check-out time is 9:30 am, which is a bit early. Was annoying to have to clean the braai area ourselves. The owner/manager was quite rude and is the reason we won't return. She sent a WhatsApp to me on the evening that we checked out with a picture of a broken chair (the curt message simply had a picture of the chair and the words "broken"), implying that we had broken it, despite it being clear from the pictures that the broken piece would have needed to have been unscrewed from the seat. When I replied to say that we didn't use that seat, she couldn't even be bothered to respond. If you visit this place, I suggest taking pictures of the place upon arrival so that you don't have to contend with any unfounded accusations about damages from a rude owner/manager.

Such a pleasant first experience in Pringle Bay. We had the most accommodating and patient host, and the surrounds were spectacular. Beautiful, clean venue with all facilities we needed. Will definitely visit again soon.

Lekker rustig.

Baie goed toegerus, en pragtige dekor! Net hartseer oor die swembad wat nie reg was vir swem nie.

Was baie rustig en mooi.

Meer aandag aan klein afronding. Toiletpapier, braaihout, sout en peper, skoonmaak van grasperk waar honde vuilgemaak het. Andersins baie netjies.

We had a wonderful stay, it was perfect for a family of four!

Loved the layout of the house and the stunning little pool. We will be back.

Very beautiful house.

Very nice and peaceful place. Very beautiful and spacious for a family to enjoy a weekend away. The Bay cottage are equipped with everything you need. Safe and private place to be. The only negative is that you have to drive your own rubbish bags to a drop off point. We were 4 people with our luggage in the car and the boot were fully packed and there was no way we were going to drive with the rubbish bags in the car on the inside, we also had to clean the braai ourselves witch was a first for us. Other than that very nice place to be.

A beautiful stay in an amazing home, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun weekend away.

The house was spotless and very spacious, the pool and braai area are amazing for an afternoon of braaing. The rooms are beautiful and bathrooms just as great. The beach is just a stroll away which is amazing. If you are looking for a romantic weekend away I would strongly recommend this place! We had a great time. Thank you.

Beautiful home, has everything you need.

This home is beautifully decorated and has everything a family of three or four needs. Lovely indoor braai for the colder evenings and in summer it could get quite windy so this works well. Very quite neighbourhood, just what we wanted. The only issue we experienced was that we wanted to set the alarm whilst inside the home, but this setting still needs to programmed.

Dit is 'n oulike huisie, maar ek sal nie weer daar bly nie.

Ek hou nie daarvan dat daar van gaste verwag word om die braaiplek skoon te maak nie. Teen die prys wat ons betaal het verwag 'n mens darem dat basiese skoonmaakdienste sal ingesluit wees. Die lys met dreigemente teen die yskas was bietjie van 'n verrassing. Ons verstaan wel dat gaste vir skade wat bobbejane maak verantwoordelik gehou sal word as vensters oop gelos word. 'n Bietjie koffie, suiker en melk sou waardeer geword het. Al was dit net genoeg vir een dag. Hoofslaapkamer se beddegoed was krapperig teen jou vel. Moet vervang word. Dit is wel 'n pragtige huisie, maar ons het 'n see-uitsig gemis.

Luuks en ruim.

Dis so mooi! Daar is duidelik 'n stylvolle hand in die huis, geriewe is luuks, nuut en modern, ons het die sitkamer bietjie knap gevind omdat dit die heeltyd gereën het, maar die res van die huis is uitstekend ingerig, baie cutlery en alles wat nodig is. 'n Knap-stap van 'n pragtige strand af. Ons kom gou weer!

Geen TV of radio wat werk nie.

Ek het gevra oor TV. Daar was net gesê hulle weet nie wanneer nie. Sondag het ons opgepak en teruggekom. Moes eers Maandag vertrek het.

Baie simplisties maar stylvol.

Het gevind dat daar baie beperkte glase en bakke is. Geen tupperbakkies of iets om kos in te bêre in yskas nie. Daar was ook nie n klein groenteskilmessie nie. Ook nie vloerlappe of ten minste 'paper towels' of so iets nie. Die skuifdeure voor maak baie moeilik oop en toe. Van die vensters se skaniere (plastiek) is stukkend. Van die Tieback-houers wat in die muur ingeskroef is, hang los uit die muur. Die 'loungers' vir by die swembad was besmet met voëlmis. Die duiwe sit op die buiteligte by die slaapkamers en bemis die plek. Daar was so 'n vuil onwelriekende ou mat oor die een lounger gegooi is - baie grillerig en vuil. Van die kussings vir buite was gevlek en oud. Ons reis baie oorsee en plaaslik en vir die prys wat mens betaal sou ek verwag dat daar ten minste verniet WiFi asook 2-ply-toiletpapier sou wees? Verder is die plekkie pragtig, ligging fantasties - die dekor besonders en ons het dit baie geniet. Net 'n note: Die water in die storte loop nie mooi uit nie - ek dink daar is iewers 'n blokkasie en stel voor julle kry 'n loodgieter uit om te kyk daarna, want die water borrel op uit die drein met 'n slegte reuk.
