Hi Paul, thank you for the review. However, I am quite shocked to hear some of the feedback as I have been doing this business for quite some time now and have never heard such remarks about this property before.

Firstly, as you've mentioned in our conversation that you've picked my unit as your intended meeting which was a mere 5 minutes away, it should mean that this location deserves much better than a 1-star rating. Perhaps you were looking for a place to stay right in your meeting room itself? If so, then my apologies for not being able to accommodate such a request. Just to note, this location is in the wonderful suburb of Fourways close to so many eateries, supermarkets and malls.

About the customer service, I'm not quite sure of the service which you were expecting. It has been mentioned that this listing is self-catering and self-check in. Also, despite the check-in time stated in the listing (3pm to 7pm) and you informing us that you will be arriving by 6pm, you checked in way past the check-in time (after 10pm) which kept us waiting up at night as we were afraid you were held up somewhere or had any issues. If you were expecting a receptionist and a warm towel, I believe there are hotels in the area as well that can accommodate your expectations.

With regards to the security of the complex, I have to disagree. The code can only be generated by the home owner (myself). I generated the code and gave the code to you, which meant only you have the code to enter and exit. With the app I am able to monitor the ins and outs of my guests and if there is any emergencies I am able to block the code as well. I also have direct communication with my security team who can attend to any issues instantly if I call on them. The guards are only doing their job to ensure the security of the complex is not compromised, therefore I find it highly unprofessional and distasteful that you would use such words.

Nonetheless your feedback has been noted and we will ensure that expectations will be set with our guests prior to their checking in to ensure neither parties feel short-changed. Thank you for staying with us.
