Ukuthula Hideaway offers peaceful self-catering accommodation nestled in the African bush near Kampersrus. The name Ukuthula means “place of peace,” reflecting the tranquil atmosphere of this private retreat set on a large property surrounded by natural bushveld. The hideaway is designed for guests seeking a quiet escape where they can rest, reflect, or work remotely while enjoying the calm rhythm of nature.
Accommodation is offered in 2 cottages, namely Sunrise Cottage and Sunset Cottage. Each cottage can accommodate up to 3 guests and comprises a sleeping area, a lounge space and an en-suite bathroom. The sleeping area is furnished with a double bed, while a single sleeper couch in the lounge area is suitable for a third guest. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath, a walk-in shower, a toilet and a washbasin.
Each cottage includes a kitchenette equipped with basic appliances, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. The units also feature a lounge area and open onto a private patio with a separate entrance, allowing guests to enjoy the peaceful bush surroundings in privacy.
Shops, restaurants and a fuel station are located at the entrance of Kampersrus. Guests can enjoy birdwatching on the property, while nearby activities include horse riding, game viewing and guided game drives in the surrounding area.
