Description
Whale’s Rest is a lovely self-catering holiday home with uninterrupted sea views situated in Pearly Beach. This property makes for a great family-friendly homebase from where guests can explore and enjoy this peaceful coastal destination.
Accommodating up to 8 guests, this double-storey home comprises 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a guest toilet. The first bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and features an indoor fireplace and access to a balcony overlooking the ocean. The second bedroom is also furnished with a queen-size bed. Both the first and second bedroom have their own en-suite bathrooms fitted with a shower, basin and toilet. The third bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, while the fourth bedroom contains a double bed. The shared bathroom is fitted with a bath and shower. Bed linen and bath towels are provided, however guests are required to bring their own beach towels.
The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, microwave, air fryer, cutlery and crockery, tea- and coffee-making facilities and a breakfast bar with stools. A dishwasher is provided for extra convenience. The dining and lounging areas have comfortable seating for guests to dine and relax, and for guests' entertainment there is a TV and an indoor fireplace. Access to Wi-Fi is available.
Guests can enjoy an enclosed patio with a braai and a dining table, an entertainment room with a pool table that converts into table tennis and balconies from where they can take in the surroundings. Whale’s Rest is also equipped with a solar system, inverter, and battery backup, ensuring lights, Wi-Fi, appliances, and essential comforts remain available during power outages. Secure parking is available for added convenience. Access to Castle Beach is approximately 210 m away, with local amenities such as shops and restaurants being within close proximity.
