"For me it is one of those places which one visits once or twice. I am not one for visiting stores. There are beautiful farms to stay on in the area which are quieter and much nicer for being in the outdoors and hiking."
"Ons het Sondagmiddag arriveer en meeste winkels was toe. Die resturante maak ook vroeg toe. Maandag was beperkte winkels oop. Wat ek wel sal aanbeveel is die Wellness spa!"

"Get rid of all the mass-produced, so called "art"and "crafts" and other items that one can buy elsewhere for less and focus on local handcrafts and locally grown produce. Also need more variety in terms of types of shops, not four or five shops selling the same items. Clarens is a beautiful town and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, but it didn't quite live up to the expectations created on the web and social media. Also the noise levels from dragsters speeding up and down the Main street at all hours was most unpleasant. If I wanted disruptive traffic noise, I could have stayed at home."
"Dis definitief 'n bestemming vir 'n paartjie wat tyd saam wil spandeer en rustig wees. Pragtige natuur en heerlike kos. Veral die Duitse restaurant, Roterhan, hulle kos was heerlik. Die Golden Gate area is baie mooi vir stap en rondry."

"Clarens het ongelooflike fantastiese vriendelike mense wat nie deur Coronavirus ondergekry is nie. Elke winkeltjie is 'n belewenis en oral word jy vriendelik ontvang. Die restaurante het elkeen besonderse disse. Ek sal beslis Clementines en Post House Restaurante aanbeveel."
