Forest Lane"Clarens is the most beautiful little town to visit and it has so much to offer. The surrounding mountains and bright blue sky makes it feel like a little piece of paradise. Old Mill Drift Guest Farm"Clarens is a lovely little town with a lot of character. I felt safe walking in the beautiful park, and there is a wide choice of restaurants on offer for casual and fine dining. There are "car washers" who offer to wash your car for a fee when you park - but not the usual obligatory "car guards" and I never felt pressured or harassed. Bear in mind that supermarket options are limited to just one local shop."

Swallowfield Rondavels"Lots of things to do. Nice pub just across the road from Swallowfields. Very nice burgers! The brewery a few klicks down the road is a treat. Also a nice coffee shop next door. Hiking in the area is excellent, ranging from short hikes suitable for kids to longer ones for more experienced hikers."
