"Ons het die aand gaan uiteet in die dorp, en personeel was baie vriendelik, en absoluut bewus van Covid higiëne, selfs beter as in Pretoria. Kon nie veel sien van dorp nie, tydwas beperk, maar ja, dit was lekker."
"Unexpected Karoo gem (our first time there) with some fine architecture, especially the churches. The biblical pictures at the 'Kerksaal' are well worth seeing. And the village is surrounded by Big Sky Karoo landscapes."

Admiral's Lodge"Ons het net 1 nag oorgebly op pad Kaap toe, maar die strande is mooi skoon en stil aangesien die strande gesluit is. Lekker eetplek met aktiwiteite vir die kinders, baie goeie kliëntediens op die strand is vir seker 'n besoek werd."
"Pragtige dorpie, paaie is in baie swak toestand, maar die dorpenaars probeer self regmaak. Die omgewing is sprokie mooi en vir wandelaars is dit 'n fees. Restaurante verskaf topklas kos, effe duur, maar ek dink dis maar die ligging wat kos duur maak. Ons kan beslis die Lighthouse Grill, The Edge en Hog en Hornbill aanbeveel."
"Lovely quiet Karoo town. Beautiful route to get there. We found it strange that some of the shops or other places one could visit, close at 17:00 and only open after 08:00. One should think they should focus more on over-night guests - especially in the holiday season. Like all other small towns, it would be great if they could keep the empty yards clean. Realize that it is not in the hands of the residents in many cases, but maybe a plan could be made. The booklet we received on the town is very informative, but we were surprised that the local shop was not indicated on the map. The walking routes indicated on the map were seemingly not available though. Overall, once again, a lovely stay!"
"Great example of history. A pity that the fountain dried up, but people survive with rain water collection - they are resilient and make a plan. The only bank in town is Standard bank."
