Lagoon View"This was out of season and ideal for a quiet and restful holiday. The shell collecting is excellent and the beaches beautiful. The restaurants were modest and the food generally OK. But I guess out of season its difficult for them to cater. In many cases we were the only ones there."

"A very small town and not for the city people. However we found the place very calming and the people are helpful. "
"I love the remoteness of the town. The Locals were friendly and happy to receive me. Highlights for me were: delicious meals at the Waenhuis, a ride on Jacob's donkey cart, casually strolling up and down the gravel roads finding quirky Art studios and honesty shops along the way, an inward journey through The Owl house and Nieu Bethesda Cement Art workshop presented by Randal, an informal trader."
"Pragtige dorp wat nog moeite doen met die mooi ou geboue en die behoud van hul karakter. Baie om te doen en sien en heerlike eetplekke."

Little Rose Self-Catering"Having lived in Port Elizabeth for 15 years it is always good to visit this beautiful part of our country. The rich history is a bonus and hankers back to the early 1800's , there is an awful lot to explore in and around the city. Great tourist destination."
