"Unfortunately the town has gone the route of many poorly run towns, is dirty and roads are very bad. CBD is very crowded and dirty."

Urban Manor BnB"No traffic! Friendly residents. Safe for walks and runs. Lovely beaches and malls and traffic officers. I do wish there were more night markets inviting you out etc. But a really tranquil city!"

Road Lodge Gqeberha Airport"It is definitely not a tourist destination with not much to do. I travelled for work, but my husband just went along and didn't have much to do. We did have one day to do things. Googling "things to do in PE" does not help at all, as the only answers are game drives and coming from Mpumalanga it is not something I would want to do. We ended up driving around to find places. Fort Frederick is interesting but sadly abandoned, as well as the infamous lighthouse. Sancorp was very interesting and I am saddened that not many people know about them as they do amazing work. Camelot Spa was amazing and shark rock pier was very well looked after. The rest of the town is kind of run-down and littered. A letdown if you compare it to other harbour/ industrial ocean areas like Mosselbay and V&A Waterfront."
