"Public facilities around the Pond are in very bad condition. Public parks and facilities in a very poor condition. Public toilet in a disgusting condition. Very limited access to the river."

On The Rocks"Loved every minute of being there. We were not fortunate enough to see any whales but the walks were amazing. We swam in the sea. The coffee shops, book shops, boutiques, art galleries, and fabulous Italian restaurant and deli were a delight. The kids kayaked and loved all the more adult offerings as well. Fabulous family time."

The Lazy Daisies"Is a small town with a lingering fishy smell in the air. We were not bothered by any smell on top of the hill where we stayed. The shops had rather limited goods and fresh meat was only available pre-packed. However, if you travel towards Vredenburg there is a good butchery next to the road. The local Portuguese Restaurant " Allegra" serves the greatest fish dishes and Portuguese Peri Peri Chicken, steaks, eisbein, seafood platters and a good choice of wines."
