"Struisbaai is 'n seevakansie-dorp uit-en-uit. Herinner baie aan die Weskus se kusdorpies en strande. Die besonderse helder, akwamaryn kleur van die water en romantiese skuite wat ronddobber by die hawetjie, is fotograwe en skilders se droom. Daar is heerlike restaurante rondom die hawe, waar ons onder 'n sambreel gesit en kyk het hoe die vakansiegangers swem; bote inkom met hul vangste en kinders saam met hul ouers luilekker op die jetty sit en draairoomyse eet. Die jetty se groot pylstertvis, wat lyk my permanent daar woon, is iets om te sien."

"We found Malgas to be a linger-longer place, quiet, unassuming, peaceful, but with everything you need to be more than comfortable. We enjoyed beautiful walks with the dogs, swims in the river and long bike rides. There was no light pollution at all so the stars were something of a dream! It’s been years since I saw the Milky Way that bright!"
