"St Michaels on sea was 'n mooi strand, lekker naby aan Beach Wood Cottages. Ek stel voor dat julle liewers af ry as om te stap, die loop af is gevaarlik met taxis wat by die heuwel afjaag, en die parkering by st Michaels is veilig genoeg. Uvongo strand is nie so lekker nie. Vat die tyd en ry deur na Ramsgate strand. Dis 10 km van Beach Wood Cottages, die parkering is skoon en veilig, en dis 'n Blouvlagstrand. In die 10 dae het ek nie een stukkie rommel op die strand gesien nie. Dis 'n baie goeie swem- en visvangstrand."
"Definitely a place to visit and stay. We had a carefree stay. With spectacular views and lazy days on the beach. Not a care in the world. Exactly how a vacation should be. Everything and more than you could wish for."

"Margate nie heeltemal so veilig en lekker soos in die verlede nie. Gelukkig was ons verblyf nader aan Lucienstrand wat baie beter is om by te swem en dis skoner."
"Uvongo beach is a small but nice beach. Unfortunately during our stay there had been a sewage pipe that had contaminated the water so no swimming. Lucky for us there are other beaches close by that we could visit."
"Vir ons wat amper 10 jaar laas in Margate vakansiegehou het, het die algemene omgewing van Margate baie agteruitgegaan. Dis duidelik dat munisipale dienslewering swak is. Maar die mense van Margate waarmee ons te doen gehad het, is tops."

"Hibberdene is a small town, but if you are going for the sea, fresh air, warm weather, dolphin and whale views and access to some private, quiet beaches, it is perfect. Local shops are fine for a quick visit, but rather drive a bit further towards Port Shepstone for greater variety. We took our 4 dogs and had a magical beach holiday with them."
