Potholed-infested which, although passing through very scenic countryside, makes for a very unpleasant driving experience."

"We had an interesting experience - three boys (children) gave us a guided tour (walk through) of Merweville which we thoroughly enjoyed - they were well behaved, friendly and did not in any way beg or made a nuisance of themselves. We bought them each a cool drink and ordered them some toasted chicken sandwiches from the "Boekklub" restaurant as a reward for their effort which they really appreciated."
"Klein en lekker dorpie met 'n mooi kerk as besienswaardigheid. Het nie te veel gesien nie want ons het laat daar aangekom en weer baie vroeg vertrek, was meestal donker."
