"Die Noord-Kaap is 'n besondere omgewing. Mense wat met blink ligte en gedoentes vakansie hou, sal seker verveeld was. Vir ons het die natuur en die mense elke dag iets nuts gebied."
"We wanted to visit the confluence of the Vaal and Orange river as well as the Glacial pavements and were told by guesthouse host that both were open and freely accessible. I had previously been and was keen to show my husband. At the confluence a man demanded R20 per person as an entrance fee (later reduced to R10 per person when we queried the legitimacy of is demands) as well as R30 for the car to drive inside to park. When we asked for a receipt we were told that the book was full. At the glacial pavements there was an overgrown path and a locked gate. In both cases we did not feel safe to park our car and left very disappointed! Needs urgent attention if there is any hope of making these features a destination again."
