"Groot Brakrivier is a lovely klein dorpie. We ate at the Transkaroo Restaurant, great service, amazing food and a wonderful ambience. The Saturday Market next to the river near the bridge is a great place to wonder around and pick up some lovely goodies. We also attended the monthly auction which was fun and exciting. Love the area and definitely will be back."

"The back where the fire baai place is maybe try to build that side walls higher so when its windy you don't get that cold breeze blowing on you while you in the pool. As then you don't really get to make use of the pool in the night because of that cold wind. Just something to think about long term. Other than that will surely book again."

"Quaint little town up near St Helena Bay, friendly caring, sharing, welcoming staff at the lodge. The town itself seemed to be quiet but full of all shops needed. The Ko-ops, Pick n Pays etc not even a 5 minute walk away from the lodge and basically being around the corner. All in all quite a surprise, eye opener and most unexpected, but absolutely lovely!"
