Abbey Lodge mistakenly pretends that one can speak Afrikaans there. I saw no evidence that French was spoken there. I was 'greeted' by a monolingual (so English speaking - that's all they can speak). My room showed no resemblance to the rooms in the examples on the website. I was stuck in an ugly cottage at the back of the yard.
