This was an excellent experience. I really enjoyed the place. Had a great hike on the premises and surrounding areas. Room and bedding were very clean. Staff were very friendly and courteous.

Pragtige plek en baie lekker gebly. Ligging is ook perfek! Sien sterre.

Potential, but not ideal for families. De Ark has so much potential, but it fell short of an ideal stay. A splash pool, a small coffee machine in the kitchen, and a bar facility would be great.

Sad. Disappointing. De Ark used to be a very special place we visited many times. There was no firewood in the rooms, breakfast was below average and guests were served instant coffee, which was very disappointing.

Very happy with our stay at De Ark. Very happy with our Easter weekend stay at De Ark. We stayed in the standard single storey unit, to which an additional single bed was added. Staff are super friendly, the unit was spacious and very clean, the fireplace worked amazingly well, the beds and linen are very soft and comfortable, the showers are huge and the water is nice and hot, breakfast was good, amazing views of the mountains, plenty of wildlife. You have to travel on a fairly rough 4.5 km gravel road to get to the lodge, so come prepared, vehicle-wise. The hiking trail was beautiful but could do with more directional signage; I got lost a few times. An outdoor play area for young kids would have been great. Faster internet connectivity would have been great. All in all, happy with our stay. I would recommend it!

Stilte en prentjie mooi uitsigte. Heerlike naweek saam met my gesin in die berge. Die uitsigte was fantasties en die zebras, blesbokke het voor die huisie gewei en die stilte was wonderlik. Kamer.

Ontspanne, asemrowende uitsigte. Ons het ons naweek baie geniet. Silas het ons vriendelik ontvang en was toeganklik.

Fantastic stay, awesome views, good value for money, friendly staff. What a nice venue, surrounded by awesome views of the mountains, wild game such as zebra, black wildebeest and blesbuck. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The chalet was clean and tidy. The staff was very friendly. We will for sure visit again, this time with our kids where we could enjoy mountain biking as a family.
