Great. Will highly recommend as a stay over on your way to the coast, even for a mini farm getaway. Right off the N1. Clean, safe, kid friendly. Huge swimming pool, lovely for a hot summer's day.

Perfect balance between peace and quiet and convenience. We stayed in the suite which was a perfect overnight stopover for a couple. The host has really put a lot of effort into making the suite comfortable and appealing with tasteful decor and beautiful old wooden furniture. There are lots of pretty but also functional touches like hooks for towels and jackets, a clothes horse and plenty of uncluttered surfaces to organise your own stuff, which makes working out of a bag easy. The shower was great and the mattress was excellent. The kitchen is well equipped for "heat and eat" with a microwave and kettle and enough crockery and cutlery. There is also a braai and a nice seating area outside. The pool supplied by the windmill was a pleasant surprise after a long hot car trip. The suite adjoins the main house but still feels private. The host was friendly and available but not intrusive. Check-in was easy with all information provided well in advance by WhatsApp. The setting on the Mooifontein farm is lovely and peaceful - close enough to the N1 to be really convenient but not right on the road. Secure parking is available behind a locked gate. Highly recommended, we would certainly stay again.

Alles soos belowe. Netjies, skoon, mooi, perfek! Dit was 'n heerlike stop en ons was uitgerus vir die volgende dag se reis. Afkoel in die swembad was 'n hoogtepunt vir die kinders.

Excellent. Beautiful cottage, so convenient and a fabulous stay. I look forward to visiting again. The cottage had everything and more that we needed. Helena is a wonderful host.

A lovely place to rest after a day's travel. Light the braai and enjoy the stoep. What a lovely stay. Clean and everything we needed after a day of travelling. Very conveniently situated and we would definitely stay again if travelling to Jhb.
