House Rules

These house rules are designed to ensure a comfortable, safe, and secure stay, and to protect the apartment for future guests. Please read them carefully before booking.

The apartment is on the first floor with an open balcony and staircase. Children must be under parental supervision at all times. Laundry or towels may not be hung over the balcony or railings.

No pets are allowed. The Place to Stay is a strict smoke-free property, which includes e-cigarettes, vapes, and electronic nicotine devices. Smoking and braaing are not permitted anywhere on the balcony or inside the apartment.

No extra guests beyond those booked may stay overnight. Parties or events are not permitted. Guests must respect neighbours and keep noise to a minimum, particularly after 22:00.

Always lock the apartment’s security trellidoor when leaving, as this is necessary for insurance purposes.

Meals must be enjoyed in the dining or kitchen area; no food or drinks are permitted in the bedrooms (sealed bottled water is allowed). Guests are responsible for any damages incurred during their stay.

Guests stay at their own risk. The owners are not liable for any injury, accident, loss, or damage during the stay. Use of the stairs or apartment facilities is at guests’ own discretion.
